WORLD'S MOST EXPENSIVE GIN

Gin has never gotten the rise to fame that vodka has but for gin-drinkers, there’s none other than the fine taste of juniper berries! It’s from these berries that every gin is made but manufacturers have added to the flavors, changed the alcohol content, and otherwise changed the gin so that gin-lovers have a wide variety of flavor when it comes to their favorite drink. Revelation is one such gin that is bursting with distinct flavor. This gin, made by Bombay Spirits Co., jewelers Baccarat and Garrard, and designer Karim Rashid, is not only the most expensive gin in the world, it’s also one of the most rare!

Revelation is the finest blend of juniper berries, almond, lemon, liquorice, orris root, angelica, coriander, cassia, cubeb, and grains of paradise. And of course, for such a fine liqueur, only the finest bottle will do. That’s why Revelation comes wrapped in a handmade crystal bottle that’s topped with a crystal stopper with a beautiful gleaming sapphire sparkling in the center. So what does such a fine piece of drink cost? Each bottle sold for $200,000. And if you think that’s a lot of money for gin, consider that included in this price are also bragging rights for owning such a rare bottle of gin. There were only five bottles of Revelation made and after it made its debut at Garrard’s in London, it was sold at five different airports.
